Just a year after we opened our doors, Veracloud became a Gold Cloud Platform competent Microsoft Partner. This is one of the highest partner statuses one may achieve with Microsoft where they recognise Veracloud in delivering leading cloud-based solutions. This competency highlights our cloud-first philosophy, digital innovation mindset, deep Azure and Microsoft 365 expertise.
We are Cloud Smart, cloud-first but not cloud-only. Although we never owned a server and we truly are born-in-the-cloud, our long-standing relationship and experience with Microsoft as a leading-edge Partner has thought us different strategies in operating a project, a workflow or a simple process.
We try to do big things every day. We lean towards out-of-the-box thinking to get the best results possible, rather than just falling back on traditional approaches. While technical ability is important, we are not interested in just getting the job done.
We are constantly on the lookout for great talent. Feel free to apply if you would like to join our family and do great things, get rewarded with our ‘We Grow, You Grow’ Bonus Program and many other benefits. Take one of our positions and love it!
Veracloud are delighted to share that we have been awarded the prestigious Microsoft Gold Partner status! This is a significant milestone on our journey with Microsoft.
What is Microsoft’s Gold Partner Status?
This is the highest partner status one may achieve with Microsoft where they recognise Veracloud in delivering leading cloud solutions that help companies collaborate and improve productivity in a secure manner.
In order to attain Microsoft’s gold competency, companies have to meet a number of strict requirements. These include the number of Microsoft-certified employees, as well as meeting the threshold of project deliveries. Veracloud has satisfied all these requirements to obtain Gold Partner status and can now show the level of commitment we have with Microsoft technologies.
Why is this important to Veracloud and its Customers?
Veracloud and ultimately its customers, will now benefit from continuous online technical support and an even deeper working and collaboration relationship with Microsoft.
What is next?
The recognition and investment from Microsoft are fantastic however, we need to keep on evolving and creating even more value for our customers. To do this, we need more talented individuals to join our ranks and hop on board our vision in offering true solutions for digital transformation.

On October 13, 2020, Exchange Server 2010 will reach end of support. If you haven’t already begun your migration from Exchange 2010 to Office 365 or Exchange 2016, now’s the time to start your planning.
Exchange Server, like almost all Microsoft products, has a support lifecycle during which we provide new features, bug fixes, security fixes, and so on. This lifecycle typically lasts for 10 years from the date of the product’s initial release, and the end of this lifecycle is known as the product’s end of support. When Exchange 2010 reaches its end of support on October 13, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide:
Technical support for problems that may occur;
Bug fixes for issues that are discovered and that may impact the stability and usability of the server;
Security fixes for vulnerabilities that are discovered and that may make the server vulnerable to security breaches;
Time zone updates.
Your installation of Exchange 2010 will continue to run after this date. However, because of the changes listed above, we strongly recommend that you migrate from Exchange 2010 as soon as possible.
Productivity and collaboration are of the utmost importance in today’s office environment. No longer are the days where you only sit at your office desk, in front of the same desktop computer, during the same time frame. You are mostly like a person who is working on a variety of different end user devices, from anywhere at any time.
In today’s world having this ‘work wherever you are’ luxury is not enough. Users still need to be connected in real-time to their colleagues but this must be done in a secure and reliable way whilst keeping simplicity at the forefront of the solution. Users expect this from their employer. How is this possible? Leveraging the cloud through Microsoft’s Office 365 makes it easy.
At #Veracloud, we enhance your team’s productivity and collaboration
in a secure and reliable environment. We do this by:
Allowing you to securely access your applications and data with almost any device, anywhere, anytime
Giving a fulfilled Modern Workplace service where you only pay for the services you actually use

IT directors and network administrators today have a tough job. They somehow need to balance an ever-expanding collection of mission-critical applications with the rising costs of private WAN solutions. The cloud has only made this more difficult. Many private and hybrid cloud resources as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, such as the Office 365 application, can quickly monopolize the available bandwidth leading to unacceptable latency issues. In response to this dynamic, companies are looking to leverage the internet to route critical traffic as opposed to dumping more money into their private WAN contracts. Cisco offers an Intelligent Wide Area Network (IWAN) solution, and it has the potential to drastically improve performance and cut costs.
What Is An Intelligent WAN? On one level, an intelligent WAN is just like any other wide area network. It connects the office’s local area network (LAN) to the wide reaches of the web. It is the highway by which office staff can access the internet. Cisco IWAN takes this concept one step further and provides network administrators an additional level of control. Instead of being structured with primary pathways flooded with traffic and secondary pathways waiting in the wings, an IWAN can alleviate congestion in the WAN and improve performance.
